he Franklin Armory Antithesis is a new class of firearm, completely unregulated by the National Firearms Act (NFA).
The patent pending Antithesis is intended to fire both, multiple projectile ammunition and traditional single projectile ammunition through a rifled bore in a shoulder fired firearm with a barrel less than 16 inches long!
Antithesis is classified solely as a “firearm” under the GCA, Antithesis requires no NFA registration, no NFA tax, and is not subject to onerous entanglements, such as interstate transport prohibitions. The innovative Antithesis Short-barreled Franklin (SBF) firearm is simply transferable with a Form 4473.
Buying a complete firearm or lower from Franklin Armory® is easy, safe, and legal. Federal law requires all firearms be shipped to a licensed dealer.

The only reason I would say is the shorter the better to attach a suppressor to for home defense. They also have a 12".
Don't get excited, you may want to know this fact from their website...
"Antithesis Not available in: CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, HI, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, OR, RI, VT, and WA"
They already pulled it from shelves pending ATF review. Do not buy it.
