THanks for the heads up. I have a cmmg banshee 8" 9mm upper that I wanted to use this on. Would I have the "no hole for bolt release" issue? What upper were you trying to use it on?
Just got off the phone with FM. They said just remove the ambi bolt release rod if ur not using their upper. bolt release will be one side only, but will work fine they said.

I bought one of these when they first came out, what FM doesn't tell you is that this lower is only compatible with their matching upper that has a cutout in the upper receiver to accommodate the bolt release. On top of that, the bolt catch rod mechanism ending up failing (spinning in place) and ceasing to have the LRBHO function. It took many emails to FM to try and rectify the problem, I received an email from one of their engineers showing me where to create a hole in my non FM receiver to "fix it". In the end they basically told me tough crap, and wouldn't honor a return of the item.
