Description
Federal Personal Defense Ammunition features a jacketed hollow point bullet that expands on impact for maximum stopping power. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.
This is top of the line, American-made range ammo - it doesn't get any better than this for personal protection.

for defensive purposes, this is an underachiever round compared to modern critical defense type JHP. I did some research after really wanting to buy this stuff and decided to stick with the best, which unfortunately costs twice as much. This ammo is a really good price, however, if you want to use it for defense, you better hope your assailants are attacking in the nude or very thinly clothed. Penetration tests show poor results through denim.
SG has this for $269.80 all day. Lucky Gunner was one of the many sites that charged ridiculous prices during the whole Sandy Hook ammo craze. Wouldn’t buy from them if I had to. SG never did that and I’m sure never will.

Just buy FMJ. It's cheaper, and this stuff doesn't expand anyhow.
$19.58 shipping to CA
makes it $0.367 per round. Still a good deal.
Great deal if you don't need the absolute latest/greatest. Good ammo for a good price, I don't see the down side personally, thought I'm not looking for 1000 rounds of hollow point...in fact who is? Still at this price it's almost "plinkable"
The YT mentioned above from NMIL would keep me from buying.
Here is another more favorable if your inclined

for this price you won't find better ammo

Just want people to know that if you buy from Lucky Gunner and after you pay for your ammo, you might have to send them a copy of your driver's license, and they don't tell you this prior to purchase, I have purchased from them in the past (several years ago) and have not since, their prices are just too high, the only plus side on my past experience was that they shipped same day if you order before a certain time frame.
