Probably increased due to global conflicts, prioritizing military over civilian sales.
Higher production costs, scarcity of raw materials
Component Shortages: Shortages of key materials like nitrocellulose affecting production.
Economic constraints, inflation and rising costs impacting supply and pricing and, IMHO, greed. It goes in cycles just relax and try not to fall into the trap of paying ridiculous prices unless you absolutely have to. As for me, I won't pay it.
