Description

Our Enhanced Trigger Assemblies are build on a traditional Mil-Spec foundation with some key upgrades for increased performance. All components are sourced from US .mil contractors that meet or exceed military specifications. Triggers and hammers are made from 8620 steel and properly heat treated. Trigger sear surfaces maintain correct geometry and are polished prior to heat treatment to ensure that surface hardened material is never removed. Triggers, hammers and disconnectors receive our proprietary electroless Nickel Teflon finish for increased lubricity and corrosion protection.

We've taken it a step further and hand selected hammer springs that keep the pull weight on the low end of the spectrum. Every single trigger assembly is checked with a pull gauge to ensure that pull weight is between 5 to 5 1/2 pounds.

PLEASE NOTE: We no longer polish the trigger sear surfaces after the plating process. Sear surfaces are only polished prior to heat treatment. Triggers are already very slick and will polish themselves during regular usage fairly quickly, however, you can polish them yourself with some Flitz (or similar polish) on a flat paper surface. The Nickel Teflon will polish very easily, so do not use sandpaper or anything else abrasive and be careful to not remove any material.

Features:

All components are machined and heat treated to mil-spec
Mil-spec geometry and reliability maintained
Trigger sear surfaces are polished before heat treatment
Proprietary nickel teflon finish
Springs are hand selected to produce a 5 to 5 1/2 pound trigger pull

Includes:

Polished trigger
Hammer
Disconnector
Trigger and hammer pins
Trigger, hammer, and disconnector springs

It's like changing out any other AR trigger. If you're not confident with your ability to change an AR trigger then you should definitely seek a qualified gunsmith.

Interesting. I figured Right To Bear would have answered my question. Looks like they jumped over it.

Thank you!! Please help spread the word.

We have to sell a lot of them in order to maintain this price point.

If you're not a gun smith, how hard is this to install? Does it come with directions?
Thanks.

Bus,

Check out the install video from Brownells. You'll need tools to remove your hand grip (watch out for the spring and pin, they can and will fly), and some pin punches to tap out/in the trigger and hammer pins.

When PSA put their nickle plated triggers on sale for $30 I bought 6 of them (unfortunately). I orderded one of these to compare to the PSA nickle trigger and the ALG ACT. After comparing this to the other triggers it blew away the PSA nickle trigger and was the exact same as the ALG ACT for half the cost. It also had a lower pull weight than the ALG trigger. If you thinking about getting this trigger you should buy one for every single AR you have because they are hands down the best mil spec option out there for the cost. Again, they are the same or better than the ALG ACT for half the cost. Impressive!

Thanks for sharing. My PSA is real nice compared to regular trigger but if it can be better, I will try one of these next time.

Very impressed. Feels just as good as the ALG Enhanced triggers but at a much better price. This is a huge improvement over a mil spec trigger and I highly recommend it. Also shipping has been excellent on my orders and zero custom service issues or complaints.

I heartily concur! Have purchased from them twice now. Fast(if not the fastest!) shipping and decent prices . Soon as they get in more barrels I'll be buying a couple to finish my 2 current builds. Great bunch to do biz with!

And you're speaking from experience? Have you tried our Nickel Teflon triggers? If so, what's your order number? If it doesn't meet your expectations then I'd like to send you another set as I have yet to find another mil-spec type trigger with as much attention to detail as ours.

We actually hand pick trigger springs to keep the pull weight between 5 and 5.5 pounds.

Geissele's wife sells one that I like a lot better.

I get them from Brownells and EVERYTHING is coated.

Pins, disconnector, springs and all.

They are about $20.00 more but the difference can be felt and is worth it.

Those are great. This one's just as good.

I've bought quite a few of RTB's in-house offerings (5 NP3 uppers, a NP3 BCG, etc.) so I decided to try out the FCG on a whim. I typically use CMC FCGs for non-magnified optics builds, and Geissele 2 Stage FCGs for magnified optics builds. I dropped RTB's NP3 FCG in one of the lowers that I use as 'loaners' for range days to try it out.

Actual trigger pull averaged 6lb (average of 5 samples) for this particular install. It has zero take up and a small amount of creep before it breaks. The NP3 treatment, however, eliminates any gritty feeback during trigger pull, making the small amount of creep very smooth.

After playing about with it a bit I think this is a real winner at the price point. As a result I'll be picking up two more (one for the other 'loaner' and one for my boy's mil-spec setup) when they come back in stock.

I am loving the nickel teflon! I have your upper and now this trigger. I am very happy with them both, the trigger pull is smooth as silk! Saving up for the bcg. Shipping is freaky fast too!

Installed this in my AR, detailed description in my blog: http://agentfishreviews.blogspot.com/2015/09/right-to-bear-nickel-teflon-fire.html...

Short version: 4.25lb trigger with JP yellow & red spring kit. Well worth the $40.

Question: I've never had nickel-teflon anything in my firearms. What lube, if any, do you recommend?

A light coat of any gun lube will work. I personally use Frog Lube. No need to use a lot of any lube on my teflon coated bcg and upper. Very slick feeling. Some say you don't need any, but I can't imagine not using a little on my bolt.

Got one. It's nice. Smooth. No grit.

All mil-spec triggers should feel like this.

Winner!

Excellent. You should advertise that boldly.

I finally installed mine last week in my PSA MOE lower. I shot about 100 rounds down range with this. It is definitely smoother that the stock PSA trigger. I did not have the gritty feeling that I used to experience. I can't comment on the weight of pull except to say that it seems about the same as any mill spec trigger that I have used.

Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase. The trigger goes nicely with my Right to Bear Teflon upper receiver and bcg. What will they coat with Teflon next?

What is country of origin? I refuse to purchase if "Made in China."

all components are 110% made in America. These are the same triggers that out military are using but with nickel Teflon and a fine tuning.

Everything is sourced from military contractors.

This may not be apples to apples but pretty close... I have a Colt CSR 1516 which has a nickel Teflon trigger and 3 other AR rifles. My Troy Northern Guard and high end PSA rifle https://gun.deals/product/psa-16-pa-15-hf-ss12g2-carbine-107999... have gritty but serviceable triggers. I'm not sure what my 2nd owner modified AR-10T has but it is very smooth. The similar Colt trigger is WAY better than my other 2 ARs. For $40 I'm in for 2, throw in some JP yellow springs and I think we have a winner. Will update after install.

SubaruEJ25 - did you install yet?

Looking for your opinion after the install.

Received Trigger group toady and installed. First off, received Trigger group within a couple days, of ordering, Outstanding, and came well packaged.
Installed in minutes and feel tight with a real nice break. I would recommend this trigger group to anyone looking for a Quality Mil spec trigger group. Thank you RIGHT TO BEAR.

In most cases what most and I want is that "glass break" feel in a trigger group. If someone can provide that for around $50, then I think they will sell a lot of trigger groups.

Our springs keep the pull on the low end of mil spec (about 5.5 pounds).

I believe the JP yellow springs are a bit lighter but may not have enough energy to ignite hard primers.

Hopefully someone else will chime in because as the owner of Right to Bear I obviously have a vested interest in this product. With that said, you can look at the specifications of both products and see that they're very similar.

I can't help but point some of the advantage that we have over some of the other mil spec type triggers

We polish sear surfaces before heat treatment to not compromise the hardened surface.

We polish the nickel Teflon after it is applied, which again, preserves the base metal and provides a grit free pull.

We also hand select trigger and hammer springs to produce a 5 to 5 1/2 pound trigger pull and verify each assembly with a pull gauge before packaging.

I should have this build complete in a week or two with this Trigger group. This would be a great deal if the spring is tuned as advertised. Normally I would replace the Mil Spec groups with the JP Yellows costing another $14. If this group functions as advertised I will be the first to reordered.

Anyone know how this compares to the ALG Defense Advanced Combat Trigger?

I've had a AR15 with the ALG Defense Combat Trigger and Liked it... Waiting on this Group to arrive. I will let you know in a few days, I hope?

I've been looking for a Nickel Trigger group for a current build. This appears to be a good deal even with the $6 shipping. If it's not, please advise for other future builds.
