Damn I wish this was Optics ready... I actually wouldn't mind having one to hunt with if it was optics ready.

Just get a Glock 20 or a Springfield XD. Any $500 DS 1911 is almost guaranteed to cause you problems.
It's a range toy if anything. Not for hunting or self-defense. If you want a reliable 10mm 1911, you should
be prepared to pay at least what a Dan Wesson costs.

I put around 1000 rounds through mine with zero issues at all. It's just heavy af. Only comfortable way to carry is in a chest rig.

While I certainly appreciate your effort into finding an optics ready version for me to consider but I am not sure the $170 price difference is worth it. May have to just keep my eye open for future sales. But thank you!
