OUR STORY: Kyle Kirkpatrick is a Olympic level gymnastics coach, extreme athlete and a tech nerd. But he was fed up with headphones because they wouldn't stay in, sounded awful or hurt his ears. Love my pair. Good fit and no issues with them so far. Id definitely get the lanyard since they are way to expensive to roll the dice on losing one.
Would i buy them again? Probably not but only because of high the price point. Plus i already have plenty hearing protection.
I think at about 12 bucks these are a much better buy.
This $26 price is their regular price. This isn't even discounted so why is it even here?
Foamies are far cheaper and work great. I have gee whiz issue ear pro and I always go back to foamies because they are easy, they are comfortable, and they work. You can find them anywhere and they are super cheap.
For those who've never had custom-fit plugs before: #1, you'll insert these with a bit of a twist to pop them into place. #2, this remoldable TPM has the advantage over traditional silicone custom plugs in that you can refit it after a couple of years of use when you notice the plugs have gotten "tighter." It's not plugs expanding, it's your ear canal shrinking as the cartilage of your ear never stops growing [it's slow but steady: this is why geriatrics all have such big ears & noses, fwiw.] Pro tip: embed some of those MONUMENTALLY uncomfortable-to-wear earbuds in this stuff & you can have really comfortable & noise-blocking headphones for your next plane- or train-trip...
All that being said, I'm not sure the "deal price" listed of $26 qualifies as a deal per se, since that's the historical price on Amazon ever since they've been available [according to 3camels price watch history...]
I have a similar earbud as well as a few others, the achilles heel to these earbuds is most indoor ranges preclude the use of them, which is unfortunate, as many offer more protection than traditional cans.
These ranges don't allow them because their insurance companies are the ones that set the policy.
What a lame range. I know a range that sells custom ear pro.
So show the range your foamies going in, & wear these on the line...
