Barrel and Gas System
The barrel is an 11.5-inch government profile unit in 4140 chrome moly vanadium steel with a nitride finish, chambered in .223 Wylde with a 1:8 twist rate and a 1/2x28 thread pitch. The carbine-length gas system pairs with a micro low-profile 0.750 steel gas block to cover the gas regulation side of the upper. A GI Birdcage flash hider in manganese phosphate at 1/2x28 rounds out the muzzle end.
Upper Receiver and Handguard
The upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish and M4 feed ramps, forming the structural core of the upper assembly. The freefloat Keymod handguard is 6061-T6 aluminum in black, surrounding the barrel without contact and providing Keymod mounting positions for compatible accessories.
Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle
The included bolt carrier group is 8620 alloy steel with a nitride finish, compatible with 5.56, .223, .300, and .350 platforms. The BCG and Mil-Spec charging handle work together to cycle the action and complete the upper side component set needed to run this complete upper on a lower receiver.
