This Daniel Defense M4A1 FSP AR15 style Upper Receiver Group was built for customers wanting a firearm inspired by USSOCOM SOPMOD Block II. It features the M4A1 FSP RIS II picatinny quad rail in Flat Dark Earth, a 14.5" M4 SOCOM heavy profile barrel, Mil-Spec F-Marked front sight base.

This ad's been up for years. Price is 700 today. Maybe you're just looking for value. . Don't know what 'level of quality' means to you but no you couldn't build a DD upper with RIS2 and pinned CHF chrome lined for this. sanman2465 and 24k others are looking for this in particular but I agree there's lots of variety available at this price. I wish I could justify 3 more.
I just love the coolness of it, I really like a FSP and the quadrail is also cool, I know it's not for everyone but you just don't see em. I have a ruger 556 w extended rail but it's mlok
Yep, this 1913 FSP and barrel upper is a bit thick but in a good way! .........as long as we're not hiking the combat course with em!
I don't understand the popularity of this upper. I get that it is a "Daniel Defense" upper, barrel and handguard but paying almost $900 for a stripped down upper doesn't make sense to me. In my opinion, your paying for the brand name. For $900 one could build a complete upper with the same level of quality or even better. By the time you purchase a BCG, a charging handle, a muzzle device etc, you'll easily be in the $1000-$1200+ range. This is just my opinion. Id love to hear yours.
