I have many Vortex products and don’t think I have had any problems with them, plus Vortex has an ironclad warranty.
I also own Vortex products which I'm a big fan of along with their ironclad warranty. I'm just not aware of any budget SRO alternatives Vortex offers that the OP seems to be in search of. If you know of any please share the info with the OP. I bet he'd appreciate it. Keep in-mind that the budget CVLIFE optic he purchased sells for $99.99. I figure he is aware of the much pricier SRO's with killer warranties that are available on the market.
I've had one of these arrive defective (circle-only and circle+dot displayed, but dot-only did not) and another die after minimal usage (went into low-brightness mode and would not adjust up or down). The second was provided by Amazon as a replacement for the first. When the second failed, CVLife refunded the purchase price but not sales tax. I wanted this to be a budget SRO alternative, but both QC and reliability aren't there. I've had fine luck with other CVLife products, but not this one.
Here's a couple of budget SRO alternatives that might interest you. I don't have any personal experience with either one, but the reviews are good.

A Gideon or Swampfox Justice II are probably in my future. I've seen that UUQ but hadn't paid it too much attention, but it was also more expensive last time I saw it.
I researched the Swampfox Justice II but I've read more mixed reviews than positive on it than the other two I mentioned. The complaints I read about the Justice II mainly spoke of the reticle not being bright enough to see well in bright daylight conditions. Again, I have no personal experience with any of these optics, so take my thoughts with a big grain of salt. Dollar for dollar I'd choose the UUQ over the CVLIFE you purchased. If I didn't mind spending a bit more on a budget SRO alternative I'd go with the Gideon. I hope you settle on one that meets your budget, needs and satisfaction. Best of luck.
For the time being, I've just cycled my Osight X onto the pistol I'd like to have a larger-window optic on. I've seen the Gideon Omega go as low as $120, so next time something like that comes along (maybe a sale, coupon code, and some rewards $$ all line up at Optics Planet), I'll probably pull the trigger.
I'm still open to the Swampfox... I've had very good luck with their prisms (both Raider and Blade) and tube optics (WarHawk 2-10x44 FFP) and I'm not married to a round SRO "clone", just looking for a very large window (without being ridiculous like the Cyelee Bull).

Roger that Pan, they can get pretty pricey.
