I bought 5 of these last year for the same deal. I was underwhelmed, and returned them. On the fat part of the sling, it is not one continuous piece of leather. Notice the diagonal stitching......it is 2 pieces spliced together......and it makes a creaking sound because the leather flexes at that joint. The leather is thin and stiff. The part of the sling that doesn't have a suede backing measures between 2.5mm-2.8mm thick. The suede backing they use is low quality. Keep in mind that even though it has good reviews, 18 of the 33 customer reviews are "Amazon Vine" reviews, which you should typically disregard if they are positive. In case you were wondering, it is made in China.
