The promo code doesn't work. Not interested in 1" mount. I think the ad is misleading.

Another purposely misleading post by CVLIFE. They do this constantly. The discount is ONLY for the 1" model, not the 30mm or 34mm, yet they use the word "mounts" in the title and description. They do state "This 1 inch" in one sentence buried deep in the description, but they also state, "Available in 1 inch, 30 mm, or 34 mm diameters." Geeez, just put "1 inch" in the title, and don't make mention of any other sizes.

I don't think you are missing too much, I have used this CVLIFE style (with the nuts) a few times and they never hold zero as the two nuts always end up coming loose, using loctite of course. Even on a 15/22.

In contrast I have had good luck with the below style (note the FOUR hex screws) with larger calibers way above 22LR but I doubt they are on sale currently.

Are you saying the nuts come loose even though you used loctite, or that in order for the nuts not to come loose, you need to use loctite?

Sorry, the nuts come loose even if you use loctite. The two large nuts with relatively small surface area for friction against the body of the mount (and the threading on the bolt itself) doesn't seem to be enough to keep the nut in place regardless of how tight they are and / or if you use something to set the fitting into place. I think the 4 smaller hex style fittings are a much better design.

Here is a deal for the example I posted above, not sure if it is still active and may also have the same problem you were facing before of only 1" mounts being included in the coupon code (not sure, didn't try).

I have this exact mount on a poor man's AR-10 DMR-ish build. I slapped it together with a spare scope and mount just to see if I would like the layout but everything worked out so well (including the mount) I just left everything in place.
