Gear up for Deer season with this straight wall Rifle kit from Brownells.
We started with the CVA Cascade chambered in 350 Legend. The CASCADE features a 4140 carbon steel barrel, threaded muzzle, and a 70° bolt throw for smooth and fast operation. The shorter bolt throw will give your thumb more scope clearance as well. The rifle comes with a flush-fit 4 round detachable magazine. The barrel and action are Cerakoted FDE and the synthetic fiber-glass reinforced stock is finished in Veil Camo. The CASCADE also has dual front swivel studs to allow the mounting of both a sling and a bipod if desired.
On top of the CASCADE, we've included Vortex's brand new Straight Wall scope; a 3-9x50mm Crossfire II. The scope features a one-inch main tube that provides a very lightweight design. The BDC is optomized for straight-wall hunting and will give you rapid holdovers and rapid target acquisition.
Attching the optic to the rifle is a set of Talley one-piece ring mounts. These provide a simple lightweight mounting solution with scope base and ring all in one. This simplified mounting system eliminates the possibility of an “out of alignment” interface or “loose connection” between the ring and base of traditional two-piece designs.
We left these products unmounted in the box. This allows the shooter to assemblethe rifle themselves and ensure the scope is positioned in the perfect spot for proper eye relief. Something you can't get by letting someone else mount your scope.
