Without the $100 rebate, it's just a mediocre deal, unless those proof marks are really important to you. Also, PSA will charge your local sales tax and add shipping costs. There are some places online that are selling the US version for a little less than PSA, and don't charge shipping or tax.
From everything I have researched and found, I believe these are in fact part of the mail in rebate plan.
I went online with the question as well as going to Colts rebate portal and website. See some pics below as proof.
***And yes I could be wrong as well. I'm just going off of everything I have been told and or researched online.
I'd love to be able to view those screenshots, but the resolution is too low to be legible. If it shows the EXACT same UPC code for the PSA model, then yeah, it will qualify, but if not........it won't. See if you can re-upload those screenshots at a higher resolution.
The surest way is to contact COLT. They will verify. Don't trust PSA.
You'd think that would be the definitive answer, but it isn't. Colt is not in charge of verifying rebates. They hire a Fulfillment Center to verify and process the rebates. The Fulfillment Center goes by the strictest guidelines sent to them by Colt. If the UPC is not on the list sent to them by Colt, they will deny the rebate, even if someone at Colt might tell you it qualifies.
I do not think this is rebate eligible. The UPC code is not listed on the Colt rebate website.
Tell me how an essentially hunk of steel costs as much as a rifle with so many machined parts?
I don't think PSA is correct about this model qualifying for the $100 rebate. Since this is a European model, it has a different UPC (098289001856) than the USA model. The rebate page lists the qualifying 4/4.25" wood grip .357 King Cobra Target model as UPC 098289001306. Rebate fulfillment centers LOVE to deny rebates on the smallest of details. I'll wager that this PSA European version will NOT qualify for the rebate.

who cares about the rebate, it's still a smokin' deal. And it's a COLT!!!!
