I have never seen the 338 ARC. I went to check out the info on this new round and gotta say not really impressed. Received about a 50/50 reception from the main gun magazines, YouTube vidos and websites such as the manufacturer Hornady.
The damn bullet is as big as the casing itself if not bigger. I get the whole ballistic coefiencey but real world application doesn't impress me. Granted I've just checked up on the round so more research is needed on my end. Being such a new round, limited availability and cost alone would give me pause in spending this kind of money on a dedicated 338 ARC rifle.
