John Moses Browning's first gun design, a falling block rifle, was perhaps also his most important. The 1885 High Wall (and a variant called the Low Wall) went on to be produced in over 60 calibers, more than any other firearm design in history. Produced from 1885 through the end of 1920, a period when target shooting was extremely popular, this was a rifle capable of great accuracy, even at long ranges.This modern day reproduction by Cimarron is true in design and style while taking advantage of modern metallurgical processes and manufacturing technology.
