Description
Centurion Arms AR-15 5.56 Chrome BCG, Sand Rail Cut w/ Chrome V2 Bolt
The Centurion Arms V2 is the next evolution in high-reliability bolt carrier groups for use in standard barrel extensions.
The V2 Sandcutter Chrome Bolt Carrier Group from Centurion Arms is a complete drop-in replacement for your existing bolt carrier group. The V2 bolt features dual ejectors, ensuring more reliable ejection. This is particularly important for use with suppressors. The bolt geometry also features a larger radius between the lugs and the body to prevent lugs from shearing at their most common failure point.
The bolt carrier is finished in hard chrome for ease of cleaning as well as greater lubricity. The carrier rails are cut in a FAL-style ‘sandcut’ for removing grit and material from the carrier rail pathway.

You’re using a strawman logical fallacy along with a false dilemma to present your argument as the correct position. It’s not the correct position, and it’s not an either/or.
Also, whatever people choose to spend their money on doesn’t impact you. This is an open, free market. Options are good for the consumer because it increases competition, and this exact product is a perfect example of why. Knights Armament had the market on these features in a BCG cornered, and the only option was a part that people were charging $1000 to purchase. Centurion stepped in with the same or similar features, but at 1/4 the price.
If this isn’t worth $260 to you, that’s fine. If you actively judge people spending $260 of their own hard-earned money, then maybe some counseling would help you move past your own issues.

Imagine the mental gymnastics required to justify buying this.
"The best of the best, worth every penny!" the buyer will gleefully tell you.
Incredible.
