I was able to get five Desert Eagles in the case. It wasn't easy. I had to remove all the foam under the grip butt. These where the L5, and L6 models. Which are smaller then the standard model.
Just picked up a Doro 5 gun hard case on ebay for 93.00 very impressive case. It also holds 18 mags!
Not a bad case for the price. Very good quality. It holds all 3 of the pistols I have on hand, but mag slot may be too short to hold my 21rd mag from my Sig X5. May have to figure out a way to make it fit. The locking points are great and the seal is awesome.
Very nice case indeed. It is better for full size non revolver guns though although you can get some revolvers in it. Smaller guns just get swallowed and really don't fit well. So your EDC concealed carry sized guns aren't really a good fit for this case. 1911, 92FS, CZ 75, 2011, and bigger Glocks are examples of perfect guns to fit in this case. As for the specific of the case it is heavy duty, very sturdy, and a little heavy. You get what you pay for. Want a very durable heavy duty case? It is going to have a little weight. Without ammo the case is pretty darn heavy with 5 guns and mags. Most of the single stack mags, like for my 1911, I can fit 2 jammed in together into the mag holes in the foam just fine. So long as there is no wide foot plate on them. You can also place mags in the space between each gun or stick a speed loader there instead like I did. Really much nicer and much more secure way to transport multiple handguns to the range.
Very happy with this case. It is lockable on two sides and made from very heavy duty polymer. It easily fits 5 guns. I keep gus ranging in size from a Glock 26 to a Canik TP9SFX with a Vortex red dot, to my Beretta 92. I have a G17 with a compensator, RMR, and rail mounted light and it fits just fine. Good product for the cost.
