these guns still have a ton of issues and its a gamble sas to if yours will run or not. I've been waiting since its release for a fix but its just not happening. I really wanted to get this gun but its just not reliable.
Like what?, define a ton of issues. Early models like mine sometimes wouldn’t go back into battery. They sent out new springs and mine has been flawless since.
Says $399 on their website ? Can someone confirm?

Why make it that complicated?
Looks like they don't want to sell it.
They are not allowed to list a lower price than what they’re showing. The only way they could show you the lower price is if you talk to them about it. The email is sort of like walking into the store and saying “can you give me a better price?“
So yes, they have to make it complicated. And no, it’s not their fault.
It's a simple required process. I don't find it complicated. "Map price" refers to Minimum Advertised Price (MAP), which is the lowest price a retailer is allowed to advertise for a manufacturer's product.
Got mine in black about 4 months after launch. 5 light primer strikes in first 200 rounds of fmj range ammo that works in other guns. After a LPS with HST 124gr I stopped wasting ammo vetting it. Sent back to Canik(Century arms) got it back with no description of what was done to fix issue, appears they changed the barrel and recoil spring. Not sure how that helps light strikes. At the range had 2 light primer strikes in the first 100 and lost any confidence in this as a carry gun which is what it is supposed to be. I really want to love this gun but it has been a waste of 400$. It looks, feels and shoots great but My 2 dagger micros, my 43x, and my GX4 Carry all have all been 100% reliable. Take that for what it's worth. It is a snazzy paper weight tho.
