I have this mount on the AR that rides in farm truck for the past year and it works well! It hasn't come loose yet even w/o loctite but needs a wrench to put on and take off, the holes on the clamp nuts don't work as intended to say the least...
the rail on top of mount is also a nice feature for mounting a high output light for night shooting and keeps the extra weight between your hands for moving targets
