I purchased a few of these "Damascus" steel knives made in Turkey and mostly from Pakistan. They are junk! The so called Damascus steel is nothing more than folded, super weak, dirty steel made from scrap. It does not hold or take and edge and feels like your running the blade over sandpaper while cutting something as easy as a piece of paper. Furthermore it rusts so fast if you do not store them in a vat of oil. The inconsistent process is also another problem...id suggest looking elsewhere for a better knife.
