The ARX100 was engineered with one purpose in mind: to be today’s best tactical semiauto rifle. It takes the concept of a modular rifle to futuristic levels, while maintaining an absolutely simple operation that make it ultra-reliable. With ambidextrous controls, easily-replaceable barrel and virtually endless possibilities for customization and accessorization, the ARX100 is adaptable to any firing scenario and is perfect for today’s most demanding tactical shooter.
This rifle was designed to be completely ambidextrous, and all the critical controls on it may be operated right- or left-handed. These include the 2-position safety, the magazine release, the bolt release and charging handle and the case-ejection selector, which determines whether spent brass is ejected to the right or left. The flip-up backup sights that come standard on the ARX100 are also versatile, offering an easily-adjustable diopter system ranged from 100 to 800 yards. The barrel is also easily replaceable in seconds, making is possible to use different lengths and calibers without any tools required. Lastly, the folding stock is adjustable for length of pull at the touch of a button, using a simple and rugged telescopic construction.
The possibilities for accessorization on the ARX100 are limited only by the user’s imagination. It comes out of the box with a full-length Picatinny rail on top, which is perfect for attaching a variety of optics and other sighting systems. It also has Picatinny rails on both sides of and under the fore-end, which offer countless possibilities for easily adding lighting systems and other tactical devices.

I love beretta, but come one this is one of the ugliest rifle ever made in history!

Botach is one of the worst in the business. I would order from Spurts-man's Guide 1st, and they are a bunch of crooks!

This rifle is one of the most hideous pieces of crap I've ever seen. I mean U G L Y.

A DECKED-out AR-15 is under 750 these days. For another 300, you can add a 2nd upper in either .300 blackout, or 7.62x39, and have TWO calibers in one reliable platform that doesn't look like a squirt gun.

Seriously, who on Earth would want this piece of doo doo? I hear even the Haitian army passed on these...

Last time I checked, Haiti didn't have an army.

These rifles are actually pretty cool. Looks are always subjective. This rifle does have some really interesting features such as a quick change barrel and the ability to change ejection of ammo with in a matter of seconds.
I think the gun looks pretty cool especially the FDE model. The dings I would give the rifle are it's trigger is subpar, and it doesn't accept all magazines. Other than that at this price it's a steal if botach would actually ship you the rifle.

They are the worst of the worst...they show the item as in-stock but it's not. I learned the hard way after my credit card was charged but they never shipped the "in-stock" rifle even though I sent in the FFL the same day as the order. Botach did not respond to my emails and calls. They refunded my money when I said no more BS and I was going to do a credit card chargeback. They are crooks.

That also, was my experience exactly......

If you want to throw your money away then go ahead and order it from Botach. I placed an order for an FDE ARX on 9/7. After weeks of not receiving a god damn thing I finally threw in the towel on 10/10 and had them cancel the order. Now I'm stuck on another struggle, actually receiving my refund.

This gun looks better with the 10" barrel instead of the 16"- of course that isn't saying much

Picked one up a few weeks back for 1050 i couldn't pass up a factory piston 6 pound SBR.... lets just see how long it sits in ATF jail. Botach was good with the transaction, I know people have had issues in the past but I've probably placed 25 orders over the last 2 years with zero issues.

By "picked up" do you actually mean that you placed an order? Are you an LEO or not. I placed an order and had my Class 3 FFL send in his info. After a month they told me these are for LEO's only, but they could get me one for more $. How have they been good with the transaction? If they now how their act together, then I'm willing to give it another shot. Details please!

Yes your right my class 3 dealer sent his paperwork and after 3 weeks of nothing I canceled the order and got a brown Mk18 from another place instead.

Ive placed around 30 orders from botach of various accessories over the past 2 years with zero issues but clearly their firearms department is another story.

Thank you Botach for such a great customer service! From ordering to receiving at FFL is approx 2 weeks. Also Botach online customer service is excellent in providing the receipt I requested for! This is my second order from Botach. My first order was my very first Desert Eagle!

Hahahah. I think I might pull the trigger on one. The sbr version just showed up which is temping but there is a 9-12 month wait right now for all NFA items... I ordered a pinned suppressor in a 10.5 inch AR on June 22nd and the dealer just told me I will not get it until beginning of next year. Apparently everyone freaked out because of 41r and there was a mad rush. I wish everyone would just chill out;)

Mine did come - I think it was close to a month from the date I ordered it. While I paid for it the same day as I ordered it, the order status showed awaiting payment until it shipped but did finally get it.

Nobody likes to wait this long but I've experienced this with Palmetto and a few others before as well. If you're in a hurry to get it you might try calling them to speed it along.

I placed my first order from botach on 6/15 for some steel 20 rd AR mags. Still no shipping information and it is now an entire month later... When I ordered it said 850 were in stock. My card has not been charged yet. I want to cancel but it was a good price ($8.95/mag) and according to their policy I can cancel anytime unless it has already shipped (was worried it was only 30 days from order date so I looked into their policy, there is no timeframe, you have until it ships)... I guess I'll give it another week... Don't think I'll order from botach again.

It's an interesting deal fore sure. Ordering the worst semi auto 5.56 rifle on the market from the worst distributer in the country. What could go wrong?

You must be one of the retarded ar-fan boys. I got rid of my ARs the moment my ARX arrived from Botach!

Has to be an obvious troll. I mean who in their right mind would rate a rifle so high that regularly maxes out a trigger gauge because the pull is so awful?

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/09/26/trigger-pulls-good-bad-ugly/...

Or promote a dealer that regularly does not ship items for weeks to months, making Palmetto State Armory look like Amazon Prime by comparison?

Great opinions and thanks for sharing. Ultimately there's a bunch of reasons for or against so safe to say it's a debated subject. I tend to buy and try and figure I can sell if I need to without much if any loss.

Still nothing from Blowtach... My order reads waiting for payment. My credit card was charged the full amount on the day I bought it. I contacted support and was told it's with the processing dept

I see no purpose in buying an overweight bulky, rifle that is heavier than it needs to be, and looks like a Star Wars gun. I have owned hundreds of rifles pistols, and shotguns, in my 68 years, "shooting since I could stand". And like the Company, but not the product, for this amount of cash, it better be a better gun than the AR/AK platform which can be had for 1/2 or less. It's a showpiece for them, not a money maker.

Ordered mine and had my FFL send their info shortly after. So far I've had 2 emails requesting the FFL be sent for the order. I finally just sent them an e-mail and received a response confirming they had received the FFL and the order was in the next phase of processing. (Whatever that means.)

I can see where people would be upset with BoTach if they cancelled their order - especially if the price was lower than anything else out there. That said, I'm assuming these will continue to drop in price so won't be holding a grudge if they fail to fulfill the order. I paid with credit card so if no ship then no pay. I can easily dispute the charge so not worried about the boogie man on this.

I'd be really curious to know what the wholesale price is for this and many other firearms...

I was thinking about ordering as well but it say "pre sale" item which scares me a bit. I emailed them to ask about it but now word back yet.

Finally ordered one today - more curious than anything I guess. I've ordered from Botach a few times and have never had a problem but this is the first firearm. My FFL ordered a CX4 from Botach and they canceled his order so not sure what to expect as far as that goes. I've got a small collection of shotguns and semi auto Beretta and have never had a problem with any of them.

As an update (07-14) still no rifle, shipping information or anything from Botach. I can see why a lot of people say they are a bad retailer since I've paid for this thing over 2 weeks ago and haven't had any updates whatsoever on the status.

I'd say you have a bout a 65% chance of them actually shipping the rifle to your ffl anytime soon... At least thats been my success/fail ratio with Botach. 6 orders, 4 filled, 2 put indefinite back-order.

As for the ARX it has some intriguing features. In particular the LH/RH ejection with that reversible bolt. Quite ingenious, that should be copied by every bullpup manufacturer.
But that forend... Ugh... Its like Berretta hired the designers of the FS2000 and XM8 and said, "Make the ARX as bulky and awkward-looking as those!"

I really want one but will probably wait until they hit $1k. Love the sbr version. This is actually a solid gun, great quality, and very flexible.

does Botach ever deliver on firearms?

I originally ordered the 10 inch sbr for 1195, I know botach has a tendency to not mention when things are not in stock. So when I called they told me it would be a few weeks for the sbr version but they did have the 16inch version in stock and shipped it 2 days later. Overall I'm happy with my purchase arx100 for 1195 shipped seems like a sweet deal to me.. Hope they get the 10 inch barrel in soon and I'm gonna file my form 1

Ordered this on 6/1 and it took 4 phone calls and 2 online CS rep chat sessions to find out that it was on back order, they didn't know when it would be filled, request a cancellation and to actually receive a refund. These guys suck. Spend your money elsewhere.

I waited for over a month on the carbine version and was never notified that it went on backorder. I called to check status after 3 weeks and was informed that it was was on backorder, there was a truck on the way and that the order should be filled in the next week. When I asked how many were coming and how many orders there were, and where I was on the line, they had no idea. This was after they had already charged my CC. It was not an authorization. It was in fact a charge. I requested a cancellation and two weeks later it wasn't reversed. I called again and after the 7th week it was finally reversed. FUCK these guys. There's no other way to put it.

A company can not charge your credit card until the product is ready for shipping, they can put a hold on the amount, but not take the money until it's ready to go out the door.

If they are that slow which I have not reason not to believe, it gives the buyer of this SBR enough time to get their tax stamp from ATF processed so the FFL can release the SBR to them.

Whom ever posted this ad and the person who updated it is clueless about NFA firearm laws, they should state it's an SBR in the ad and clearly state you have to an approved form 1 and use a FFL that is allowed to transfer a SBR.

0 votes
0 votes

While you are correct that a company is not allowed by their credit card agreement to charge a credit card more than three days prior to shipment, the tax stamp information you posted is incorrect. Since these are factory built SBR's, they will actually transfer on a Form 4, not a Form 1. A Form 1 is used if you are the "Maker" of an NFA firearm. If an NFA firearms has already been made by someone else (Beretta in this case), then it transfers to an individual on a Form 4. You'll need a dealer who has an FFL that allows them to deal in NFA firearms to do the transfer. The rifle actually has to transfer from Beretta to Botach and then from Botach to your dealer. Only after your dealer actually has the rifle in hand can your dealer begin the process of transferring it to you on a Form 4.

The two most useless entities in weapons today; a manufacturer that hates civilian firearm ownership, and a retailer that steals people's money.

Not even once.

Strange.....I always thought it was HK that hated civilian ownership.....while I'm not a fan of most of their guns, Beretta seems to be on the pro-civilian side and they deserve credit for taking their business to more gun-freindly climates when O'Malley and Maryland decided to go full legislative retard....

HK woke up and realized that selling the 416 and M27 was not going to keep them afloat, now they are producing VP9, VP40 and P30SK at a much more civilian consumer friendly price point.

The smart thing to do with this rifle is buy the 16" version then do the tax stamp, enjoy it until ATF got around to issuing it. Then buy the shorter barrel.

I've been waiting for over a month for the 16 inch barrel version for the same price. Poor customer service and the gang banger ghetto chicks that answer the phones at Botach should be working at a call girl center not a firearm/sporting goods store. Buyer beware!!! If you have money to crap shoot with buy all means take a shot with Botach.

I handled this gun and it is very weird. I did not like the ergonomics of it and felt very bulky. Not my cup of tea.

Same here, it almost seemed like they just added a bunch of polymer to make the rifle look a certain way, with no real functional purpose. The Nerf style logos on the receiver don't help refute my beliefs either.

It's like a kid drew the design because it looked cool to him, and they built it.

Probably because this is the same price it has been for FOUR MONTHS. Regular price is NOT a deal nor does it warrant a daily notification. Did you know the Dollar Store has everything on sale this century only for just.....one dollar?!? Must post that on every deal website at least twice a day.....
