Description

Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol Model 12ga Semi Automatic Shotgun with Standard Stock & 7+1 19.1″ Barrel

The A300 Ultima Patrol is a tactical version of one of Beretta’s most popular hunting shotguns. Similar to its hunting counterpart, the A300 Ultima Patrol utilizes a semiautomatic gas-operated action with a compensating exhaust valve, self-cleaning piston, and a chrome-lined barrel. The short, 19 ½” barrel gives it a compact size and makes it ideal for engaging targets while in confined spaces. It’s CQC capabilities are enhanced even further thanks to a 7-round extended magazine tube for some extra firepower and a modular ghost-ring rear sight for fast target acquisition. In addition to its effectiveness in close-quarters, the A300 Ultima Patrol was built to be extremely reliable and easy to use. It sports a large textured bolt release, an oversized charging handle, and a hefty safety button that can be switched from side to side. The amplified checkering around the grip and fore-end ensures the operator will have a consistent grip on the weapon, even when wearing gloves. Aside from its ease of use and close range capabilities, the A300 Ultima Patrol is a highly customizable platform. A receiver mounted MIL-STD Picatinny rail allows for the installation of optics, and M-LOK attachment points on the forend and barrel clamp accommodates the use of tactical lights/lasers.

I got my 1301 FDE for $1050 BNIB. Just bookmark the product page and check for updates once a day.

For me the A1301 locally was $400 more and for what I wanted, the A300 just felt right. For those people comparing the A300 to the A1301 it’s like a Camaro vs. Corvette or M3 vs. base 3 series comparison, they just aren’t the same class of shotgun yet both basically do the same thing. The impression I get from Beretta is that this shotgun was designed around the law enforcement environment as was meant to replace aging Mossberg and Remington pump guns that some departments were still using. No, it’s no Benelli M4 but the A300 wasn’t really designed for hard core combat, either, keeping it at a price point friendly to a departments budget.

Is there anything you have to do in order to get the discount code to work? Keeps saying invalid when entered in the coupon code section of checkout. Thanks!

This is a pretty good price! I bought the tiger stripe edition from Frontier Justice in Omaha, NE for $1099. It is a good gun except for the rear QD mount. You need to back it out 1/4 of a turn with an Allen key for your sling swivel to properly lock in place. I tested it over on my YouTube channel Travisp11 and it ran just fine. The Federal Tactical LE Flite control produces a nice fireball on occasion. I’d say it makes a solid competitor compared to the Mossberg 940. You can compare it to the A1301 but they are in different price points and in some regards, the Blink gas system, Italian build and fancier internal receiver on the A1301 helps justify the additional cost on that model.

I picked up my two in grey a few weeks ago. They’re very nice for the money, but you can definitely see and feel the plastic and downgrade compared to my 1301.

3 stars? Why knock it because it's not a 1301? It's a phenomenal gun and comes better equipped than the 1301. 1301 doesn't come equipped extension, or enlarged feeding port. The grip on the hanguard is better too. It's the same receiver minus the Blink system. It's 5 stars for what it is. Beretta gave you everything for under $1k.

Don’t even know what you’re talking about with the stars. I was just offering my experience and thoughts about a very fine self-defense shotgun in comparison to another.

no clue either, but I'll give him a star and a smiley face from my private stash to raise his spirits
