Description

The 92X is the latest expansion of the Beretta 92 pistol platform, which has seen 50 years of refinement and has been tested, used, and abused in some of the most demanding environments any sidearm has been subjected to. The 92X Performance Family was designed in collaboration with the highest-level competitive shooters in the world to have out-of-the-box optimized performance and consistency.

The new Beretta 92X Performance Carry Optic model retains the same ergonomics and features of the popular 92X Performance Carry platform with a red dot optic-ready slide, included optic plates, and improved trigger performance.

I submitted the rebate by 4/17, bought it from PSA, the receipt did not include the serial number. I just received the confirmation email on 5/6.

Rebate submitted 4/21, approved 4/28, received virtual prepaid card 5/4. Bereli's online receipt does not include the serial number of the gun. My local FFL has the serial number printed on the pickup receipt. I took a single picture of the FFL receipt, the factor box showing the serial number sticker, and the gun showing the serial number. Submitted that along with sales receipt from Bereli. Hope that helps.

I wanted to add again that I finally received my $200 visa from Beretta. It took nearly 1.5 months to receive it but it did arrive. you could request for a physical visa card at $3 but you could use it digitally. (they send you digital visa card)

Ghost, Thanks for that. I hope it helped some people with their rebates.

This deal is WAY too good to pass up on. I've been looking at CZ Shadow 2 and other Race guns for my range toy, but this deal is by far the best deal so far for handguns. It's nearly 50% off with $200 back (Pre-paid visa) or $300 Beretta credit. (depends on what you need from their store, this might be worth it).

Also Beretta DOES require firearm serial number to be displayed on the receipt. Upon calling Bereli, they confirmed that once you've received your gun, they will create a new invoice with the serial numbers attached to it.

Anyone on the fence to purchase this gun, I would say yes at this price. Even on the used market, they go for $1099+ Strong Buy if you are in the market for Ferrari of pistols. (at least for the looks)

I can confirm the receipt process. Beretta was being a stickler about it. Bereli had no issues with sending me a new invoice with the serial number on it. Great customer service.I even offered to send a copy of my 4473 in to Beretta with the serial listed and they wouldn’t take that. Disappointing for such a big company.

To process the rebate, Beretta now requires the serial number of the firearm to be on the invoice!

Glad im not the only one. I reached out to the vendor and they said serials are not included for security reasons. I checked all my gun purchases and serials were never on the invoice. Invoices do have SKUs sometimes. Beretta is playing a dirty fkin game

Any store will provide you with an invoice with the serial if you ask for it, it's not exactly weird Beretta would want something with the serial on it, otherwise how do they know you bought it? Nothing dirty about that it takes one second to ask for another invoice if it's not on there, every store I've ever asked for one was super cool and sent one immediately.

I wrote to Beretta and they answered today March 5, 2026: Include ATF form 4473 with the paperwork. They do seem to make it complicated, but they have always come through with my rebates. I have to give them credit. They stand behind their word. Perhaps they need to go through this extra requirement because people may try to receive the rebates by fraudulent means. I just recently received a rebate Dec 2025 where the redeem did say a receipt with serial # was required, but they paid the rebate to me when I turned in the paperwork without the serial # on the receipt. But Beretta should know that serial #s are not on the receipt, they should explain more details of what they require.

Interesting they haven't responded to me. When did you contact them? I emailed them yesterday, March 4 2026, noon mountain time. And are you Asian? Im going to make it a race thing

Am I Asian? LOL. No, I am 100% American, but if you trace my roots, my ancestors were bloody English and Seminole Indian. LOL. If someone orders online, that receipt most likely will not have a serial # on it because it is produced immediately on line. I received my Beretta today and lo and behold, it had a sales receipt in the case with the gun (Shoot-Straight Gun Company). That receipt had the serial number on it. When you order on line, they don't have an opportunity to assign that serial # , but during the process when the pistol is picked to be shipped, then they have that serial #. Beretta contacted me and said that I could use ATF Form 4473 if my receipt does not have the serial #. Form 4473 is the actual form you fill out for background check. But my receipt has the serial # in the case that was shipped, so I don't have to go thru the BS of providing, uploading all that other BS that Beretta requires. Of course if you buy from a land store locally, then they should give you a receipt with the serial #. The previous rebate center that handled Beretta (Garvin) tried to cheat me one time. I had to send 9 emails before I got their a$$ moving. They have changed to DASH now. Beretta has always come thru for me, but me thinks they are making it hard on purpose now.

Reason I ask what ethnicity is being Asian, I get the shit end of the stick a lot and I'm just sick and fkin tired of this shit. So your last name is different from mine so beretta responds to you but not me is how im taking it right now

Beretta has always honored their rebates to me. As I have commented here, one time Garvin (their rebate handler) tried to not honor a rebate. After many emails to them and Beretta, I got the rebate. Garvin could not handle the distribution of the rebates correctly, so Beretta has gotten DASH to do the dirty work, lol. A lot of "not clear instructions" and questionable products that qualify. Plus the rebate form is a trip. Nice way to treat the Beretta customers. If you order on line, then the vendor has to send the receipt with the serial # so that the FFL can record the weapon correctly. If you buy at local gun store, make sure your receipt has the serial #. Don't let the vendor BS you into thinking no serial # for security reasons. As for our names, with a name like you have, I would not call back either. LOL

I just redeem a rebate from Beretta. The redeem process did say that a serial number is required, but since I ordered online, that requirement was not applicable. As long as you have a receipt, and you must take a picture of the gun showing the serial #. I also include my gun box/case with the serial # on it with the pistol in the picture. I have inquired at Beretta on this matter and I will give an update.

I did the same and beretta denied my rebate request

If you ordered on line, then the pistol should have a receipt with serial # on it when it arrives at the FFL. The FFL has to have this receipt with the serial # in order to complete Form 4473. If you purchase at local store, then they should be able to provide a receipt with serial #. If all else fails, then you can use ATF Form 4473 (according to Beretta - I have saved that message). That is the form that you filled out for background. Beretta is good to honor, but their logistics suck.

Well....guess I won't be able to complain about anything my wife buys until next year. Just got this one, and the Gara, and the Corsa when they were on sale. I couldn't pass these up. The way I see it I saved almost $2K with the sales and the $200 rebate. Not a bad deal for three of Beretta's nicest handguns.

A few days ago, PSA had this one and the Performance Defender here, and they SOLD OUT FAST. Maybe if ya want it, don’t procrastinate imho.

PSA is back in stock. They have the Performance Defensive (optic ready) for $899 - $200 rebate right now. They also have the PCO for the same price as Bereli $999 minus rebate. I grabbed the defensive because I didn't care about the lower pic rail and I think it looks better without it. Such a sexy pistol. Also $100 cheaper and 1/3 lb lighter than the Carry version. You can't go wrong with either.
