The Benelli R1 Big Game rifle chambered in 300 Win Mag with ComforTech recoil dampening stock system and A.R.G.O. piston-driven operating system tames the recoil of big caliber rounds to keep you on target and shooting all day. The A.R.G.O. system was adapted for use with centerfire rifle cartridges paired with a three-lug rotary bolt to help reduce recoil by up to 50% compared to bolt-action rifles in the same calibers. No rifle in the world that allows you to get back on target faster than the R1 with ComforTech. Pairing R1's ComforTech recoil dampening stock with Benelli's ultra-reliable A.R.G.O. piston-driven system really takes the sting out of recoil. The R1 features a free-floating, cryogenically treated 24" barrel that is mated to a sturdy steel upper receiver to offer outstanding accuracy and a secure platform for mounting optics.
