Why do some say bca is absolutely garbage ? How can it be that bad . I have heard all sorts of stories. I guess they could have loose nuts and bolts or something but how could they be that bad

Yeah people are just dumb or brand snobs. ANY new firearm should be checked over and inspected to make sure all parts and pieces are locked tighted where appropriate and torqued to spec before shooting them. Also a cleaning and lubing should be done as well. This is especially true in the AR and AK rifles and pistols.

Very nice entry level AR15 rifle. It warms my heart to see decent quality AR's being sold for under $300. It gives those who may have not been able to purchase these firearms due to budget, a chance to get one and enjoy the shooting of such an iconic firearm. I am a firm believer that the more legal guns we can get into the hands of LEGAL gun owners, the better off we are as a growing gun community. With that said and so I don't get "called out" for rambling about my opinion and "monologue"...lol. I will say that the Bear Creek line up are solid performing pistols and rifles. I own a couple and various parts from BCA. I've never had an issue with any of them. They are on par with most other AR's under $600 or more. Flashy with lots of bling and "goodies"? No...a perfect platform to slowly customize over time as one can afford to? Absolutely! Having 7075 Aluminum uppers and lowers for longevity and strength, as well as MIL-SPEC parts ensure compatibility with a wide array of aftermarket parts. The 1:7 twist barrel is a fair compromise and will stabilize most commercial 223/556 rounds from 55gr up to 77gr. The only gripe I have is that they should of offered it with a single magazine which can easily be had in the $5-$7 range. I like the rail on this model as well. The slim profile allows for a C clamp grip while manuevering and shooting and has plenty of MLOK slots for accessories. If your in the market, then this is a great deal.
Merry Christmas to everyone!
