Weighing in at 8.6 pounds without a magazine and with a custom compensator, it easily tames the .45 ACP cartridge for soft shooting. The receiver is alloy for reduced weight, with a steel feed ramp. What the hell is this crapper? First things first look at that gap between the mag and the front of the receiver. Which brings up another issue, the chamber is wide open to contaminates, dirt, dust, water, etc...then you have that super long rear receiver that makes the lOP VERY long, requiring the adjustable stock. I doubt too many people can run the stock at full adjustment length. This thing just doesn't seem to be worth the price tag. There's so many other options to buy or build a .45 caliber AR platform rifle or pistol for much less money. If you've got money to burn on these "Gimmick" guns, by all means have at it! More guns we get into the hands of the LEGAL US citizens, the better!

Just get an actual Thompson for the same price.
