The One Horse M16 .223/5.56 Bolt Carrier Group is built for shooters who want dependable function, long-term durability, and straightforward compatibility in an AR-15 platform. Designed for 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, and .300 Blackout setups, this BCG delivers smooth cycling, consistent extraction, and reliable performance across a wide range of rifle builds.
This carrier group uses a 9310 tool-steel bolt paired with an 8620 AQ steel carrier, along with full Mil-Spec heat treatment and magnetic particle inspection to provide added confidence in material strength and quality control. One Horse also includes practical reliability features such as chamfered lug backs, an extractor spring with insert and O-ring installed, an S7 extractor, and a properly staked gas key with Grade 8 fasteners.
A salt-bath nitride finish is applied to the bolt, carrier, and cam pin to improve wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance. With forward assist serrations, full-auto profile compatibility, and all-USA materials and manufacturing, this is a rugged upgrade for builders who want a hard-use M16-style bolt carrier group without unnecessary extras.
