Buyer beware, this gun is almost completely plastic. Upper, lower, furniture, buffer tube and even the trigger and hammer are plastic. I have issue because no where does it say this on this ad. It simply says "frame: polymer " Spend another $50-$100 and buy a all metal rifle. Plenty of other better choices out there. I don't care what others may say, plastic will and does warp over time, especially with the pressures the 5.56 round produces. Why else would the company keep adding more and more METAL reinforcement with every new model?
It's common sense and physics. If you are just looking for a safe queen that you might shoot a couple times a year, then maybe. But if you shoot and train I'd say don't buy this. I could accept if it was just a polymer lower, but not a complete rifle thru and thru.
Got a link to one that's metal that looks like this one or similar for $50-$100 more?
There are plenty of all metal AR pistols and rifle for just a bit more. No reason to buy an all polymer AR.

This PSA is much better for the extra money:
FWIW, you probably don't want a 7.5" 5.56. The barrel isn't long enough for the ballistics of 5.56. If you need / want that short you are better off with a 7.62x39 or a 300 BLK, maybe even a PCC.
