Anderson's modern-take on a classic, the AM-15 Dissipator delivers a very smooth recoil impulse and optimal sight radius. You get the benefits of a rifle-length gas system in a lighter, more compact package. This AM-15 Dissipator is everything you need in an AR rifle with retro features and a look that just screams " Classic " right out of the box. A 16" government profile barrel features a Rifle Length gas system for reliability with all ammo types. Anderson has engineered a Dissipator rifle that runs great out of the box. At the end of the 1/2 x 28 threaded 1 in 8 twist Government Profile barrel, you have a standard A2 bird cage style flash hider. Both upper and lower receivers are forged 7075 T6 Aluminum Type 3 hard anodized in black. The upper receiver itself is a flat top so you can add a detachable carry handle or a riser with the optic of your choice, or simply go with the Magpul MBUS flip-up rear sight which comes included. This rifle further features a Fixed Rifle Length buttstock, an A2 pistol grip, and a Rifle Length M4-style plastic clamshell handguard. An M16 profile bolt carrier comes standard in each rifle. This rifle ships with one 30-round ASC brand aluminum magazine.
