The Anderson Manufacturing AM-15 Utility 5.56 Complete Upper Receiver Group is built from the factory ready to be installed on your lower receiver. This complete AR-15 upper features a 16" barrel made from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a durable Nitride finish and a carbine length gas system with a 1:8 twist rate. The upper receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and hardcoat anodized black. The 15" free float handguard features M-LOK slots and an interrupted picatinny top rail to save weight. The bolt carrier is 8620 steel while the bolt is 9310 steel and Nitride finished for ease of maintenance. 5/8/24 - Right now PA is offering a Radical Firearms 18" .223 Wylde 1:8 S.S. Rifle-Length Barreled Upper - 15" M-LOK RPR Gen3 Rail and BMD Brake for $193.59 w/code SAVE12. A BCG & CH isn't included, unfortunately, but a lifetime warranty is.

EDIT: After mulling it over with my liquid friend Jose Cuervo we came to the conclusion that i should purchase this Radical upper at the price currently being offered. So I placed an order for one. $223.66 total including tax and shipping to my home in GA. That's a lot of hardware (which should at least should be decent hardware) for the money. I've been reading good things about their products and CS when/if needed. When they were a new company they admittedly had problems with their BCGs. That problem was supposedly remedied years ago. I'm purty dang confident that if something about the upper assembly isn't right, they will make it right.
This upper has a government profile barrel with carbine length gas system, unfortunately.
