Bought this kit for a Christmas gift and it arrived as expected, just a simple kit - fully assembled upper and lower boxed separately, optic still boxed, and 3 sealed mags. I popped the upper on the lower and pulled the charging handle back to have the BCG slide back with no resistance and stay. Took a minute for me to figure out what was going wrong - no buffer or buffer spring in the lower. That part was supposed to be fully assembled. Reached out to the vendor - lockedloaded and hope they respond with a quick solution.
Update: After some back and forth where I was directed to contact the manufacturer (hilarious since Anderson no longer exists) the seller made things right and has shipped a buffer and spring.

This is a damn good deal! I have a handful of Anderson AR rifles and pistols. A few I put together myself from the lower and also have purchased a few online.
They all run well and I rarely have an issue. Out of the bunch, my most shot rifle probably has 5000 rounds thru it. I keep it clean and well lubricated and it just keeps on ticking. This complete upper and lower set is a great way for someone wanting to learn the inner workings or a first time builder of the AR platform. At this price it's almost worth getting 2...
