These are the second gen smooth-side Tapcos. Lock in better, supposed to be more secure. As mentioned, from 10' away they look like authentic bakelites. Def worth the upcharge from $5 Tapco wafflemags. Have run flawlessly in my Veprs, Saiga, AMD-65.
