The Aero Precision AR-15 barreled upper receiver is built around the M4E1 Enhanced upper receiver with built in handguard mounting platform. The receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and precision machined to M4E1 specs to ensure proper fit with Mil-Spec and aftermarket parts. It is matte black hardcoat anodized and features laser engraved T-marks on the upper picatinny rail. This 10.5” 5.56 barreled upper comes with the Enhanced Gen 2 M-LOK free float handguard that features improved ergonomics, and a lightweight design with scalloped picatinny top rail. It also features a large 1.78” inside diameter for use with suppressors.

The 5.56 10.5” barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a salt bath Nitride finish, a carbine length gas system, and a 1:7 twist rate for heavier bullets. It has an M4 feed ramp barrel extension and is magnetic particle inspected as well as high pressure tested. A standard A2 flash hider with 1/2x28 threading is attached to the muzzle.
