Description

PolyCase®’s Inceptor™ line of ammunition features PolyCase’s patent-pending Cu/P™ bullet technology, loaded in traditional high-quality brass. The FIREFLY™ TRACER bullet has the same pinpoint precision and low-recoil as the RNP™ PRECISION, and also incorporates a short-range tracer. Inceptor™ Firefly™ rounds will change the way you experience handgun and 9mm carbine shooting.

Being able to see your shot from muzzle to target will not only make you a better shooter, but will make the entire experience of shooting a lot more fun. The Firefly™ round functions effectively as a shot path indicator for competition and duty purposes, and is also a great way to introduce novice shooters to the sport.

Received in 3 days, and groups out of my mini 14 are as good or better than the other ammo I shoot. I would recommend it to anyone.

In for 1k at $387.24 total with shipping. I'm not a big fan of M855 "penetrators" since 55 grain is MUCH better for self defense, but I can't find anything appreciably cheaper without resorting to steel-case Wolf, which I hope never to do. The fact that this stuff is SEALED is icing on the cake.

Sadly, post 12/12 ammo will never be the same.

UPDATE: Ordered Friday morning (11/15), shipped same day, arrived SATURDAY (11/16) around noon via FedEx Home Delivery.

Very clean, nice-looking SEALED ammo. Filled one 40-round Magpul M3 mag and went to town. All fired perfectly, with no fliers or other issues. Seems to be roughly about MOA accuracy, maybe a little more, but I'm no great shot and I wasn't using a sled so I'm certainly not the one to make a definitive statement on accuracy and consistency.

My order arrived today. Like I posted before, total with shipping to Mississippi was $384.78
Rounds are packed 20/box and attract a magnet. Headstamp is SADU 13 which I belive to be Romanian. Will post a rage report in a day or two. Initial inspection leads me to believe this is worth the price.

This Brass-cased 5.56 SS109 Ammunition has a standard SS109 steel core projectile. It is essentially "Green Tip? ammunition without the painted green tip.

Good price, good service! Sure beats the heck out of Cabela's criminal bait & switch on .223 a couple of months ago. If this order/ammo comes through like I expect, I will have no reason to drive 40 miles to a Cabela's rip-off store. Too bad Dick Cabela retired...

That's service -- ordered Wed. from GA, arrived Sat. AM via FedEx in NE! New brass, sealed necks and primers, shoots great, and no ripoffs like Cabela's...

Maybe someone from the store can help me out with this. I added 100 rounds of 223 which was $36.00 + $14.04 shipping. I then added three 223 stainless steel magazines to the order. The total came to $64.50 plus a shipping charge of $49.59. Needless to say a huge shipping price jump. Shipping location is Eugene, OR 97402. Thanks for your help.

I bought 260 rounds and the shipping was only $13.58! The order ended up totaling to 0.41/round which is pretty darn good. Seems to be a good group of folks over there that really try to give you the best price of shipping they can for your location. Also, really fast shipping(3 days)...Thanks BuyGunsandAmmo.com for the low price, keep it up!

400.00 shipped to az for 1,000 rounds......not impressed.

We Encourage You to choose the case of 1,000 cartridges instead of choosing 10x 100-round cases. Your shipping rate will be reasonable.

Your logic seems flawed. Adding 1000 round cases still comes out to .40/rd once shipping is applied.

$202.21 for 500 shipped. Can't be any worse than the lake city shit I'm buying from psa. I say good deal.

I'm very pleased with my order.
I ordered 250 rounds for $103 shipped, and I actually received 252. The items were well packaged, but it did say "500CT9MM" on the which worried me a first.
Placed the order on thursday and the shipment would have arrived on saturday if I were home. So, kudos on the shipping speed.
The rounds look good too, although the paint used to seal them is somewhat bubbly. Hopefully it doesn't make a difference in long term storage.

I purchased 260 of 5.56 ordered on Thursday was in my hand on Monday morning. Great quick communication on the order fast timely emails and ammo delivery. Ammo is magnetic and I missed that somewhere or should have asked I guess. That's my fault thought it wouldn't be for some reason so won't be shooting my order any time soon. Ohio doesn't like to shoot steel inside in most ranges.

I purchased 260 rounds. Cost was about $11 shipping for Michigan. I received a confirmation within 30 seconds of placing the order and the item shipped the next business day (I placed my order over the weekend) with FedEx tracking number e-mailed to me. I have high hopes for this brass, hopefully I will be doing business with this dealer again. Price worked out to be about $0.40/round including shipping costs.

I just went to order 300 9mm and 300 5.56 and it's saying shipping is $115! I'm in MO btw, nothing crazy. Am I missing something here?

Our Shipping Rates Are optimized for the quantities we offer under each cartridge. We would suggest you order 250 cartridges of 9mm and 260 of 5.56. You will find a noticeable difference in your shipping rates using this method. We have shipped many orders to MO and the shipping rates seem quite reasonable. We thank you for your interest in our products.

That method brings the total to .43/rd.

I'll post back when ammo arrives.

Cost you 9 bucks more than I would have gotten charged for 900 less rounds and a few hundred miles shorter? Dangitman! LOL

a 100 rounds shipped to me just a couple hundred miles away in Alabama is 15 and change. Puts it at 51 cents a round for 100, so I will stick to local stores.

following this thread and pretty impressed with the customer service i have seen. let me know how this stuff shoots! personally im waiting for all prices to drop a little bit more but feel that this "deal" is on par with other current "deals."

Hi gummy jones, thanks for the comment on the customer service. We strive to make sure we're providing the best we can. As far as your comment about being on par: we have not seen any deals like ours. Closest thing is about $0.04 more a round. If we're mistaken, let us know. We'd like to check it out. Remember we've got a SS109 62grain projectile in a NATO-standard cartridge.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback.

What Items Were You Pricing? We have reviewed our shipping rates and are finding very few issues. A case of 1,500 rounds of 5.56, for example, is $57.60 shipped to Spokane, which would still price the ammo, delivered, at less than $400 /1,000 delivered. Let us help you with this. Please contact us at [email protected] with the specifics of your intended order and hopefully we can find the issue and assist you with your order..

$28 shipping for 1000 to NH, not to bad, still cheaper than the local buy $12.

Not a bad price, though shipping seems a bit high to California. $123.20 for 3000rds (2x1500) of 5.56.

Unlike Some Distributors, we are not blessed with multiple warehouses spread throughout the USA from which to ship. We are located near the port in Savannah, GA, so your 90(+) lb shipment is traveling coast-to-coast, which is costly. We do not carry the high overhead of the larger companies, which allows us to keep ammunition pricing in check. Unfortunately, there is nothing more we can do to lower the shipping rates, except raise our cartridge prices to subsidize shipping (which we prefer not to do). Should you become our client, you will note that your delivered cost for the 3,000 rounds of 5.56 would be just above $400 /1,000 which is highly competitive for 2013 Factory New brass-cased 5.56 62gr SS109 ammunition. Have a great weekend!

You ship 1000rds to NH for $28, but charge $142 shipping from Savannah to Metro Atlanta. What gives?

2 votes

1,000 rd Case Shipped to ATL is $22.76. Please follow the ordering instructions on the website "To select your box count please use the quantity drop down below. If you are purchasing 1000 or 1500 rounds please DO NOT select 100 round box X 10, Instead just select 1000 in the quantity drop down." By running the order ourselves, we just confirmed that you selected 10 cases of 100 rds, which would naturally result in a super high shipping rate. Please contact us at [email protected] so we may assist you with this order. Have a great weekend!

Hi Mike8194, we're not sure what you may be referring to as far as shipping. We're showing shipping 4500 Rounds to Atlanta for about $112. The same shipment to NH would be around $139. If you'd like to shoot us an email with details we'd love to help you out. [email protected]

Hi Miglo, we show the same numbers. As we explained in our reply to 3xX above, your shipment is traveling across the country to get to you. We hope our service can out weigh our uncontrolled shipping cost.

Thanks

We Kalifornians have to be very picky when it comes to online ammo purchases. PSA usually cannot be beat with shipping ranging from $7-15 UPS.

Sadly, no ranges near me allow steel core ammo. Wouldn't mind knowing how well this stuff shoots.

Well so far I have tried twice to get an order in. Under the shipping method to select, there is no drop down box listing the shipping method to use, so it cannot be accessed, ergo the order is not processed. Also the coupon code does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to discount anything. But at least I can complain here. SO folks, I recommend a different site which works the way it should. Cannot get what the site will not let you order.

BGAA Coupon Expired for 5.56 on Thursday, Oct. 24. We announced this on October 24 and further discounted our 2013 Factory New, brass-cased, ammunition to $360 /1,000 ($1 less than the previous sale price with discount code). The BGAA 5% off code is still valid for the rest of the items in your cart. We only offer FedEx Home Delivery, so that is the default shipping method. We will gladly place your order by phone if you send us an email with your contact information to [email protected].
