I read your post after I bought this deal a few months ago and of course decided to sit down and count out all my rounds, wondering how much they shorted me by. When I finished I was actually very surprised. I had 27 or 28 extra if I remember right. Just thought it was weird I had in excess about the amount you were shorted...lol.

Just send your extras to [email protected]. He was a little short.

Ok, just having fun.

When bulk ammo comes in individual 50, 20 or 30 rd boxes you get 1,000 rds. When the 1,000 rds is in one loose package it's often 22-33 rds short (this has happened to me with 45 acp and 9mm several different brands as well.

$26.00 shipping plus tax living in SC makes it 35 cents a round for me. No deal :-/ I thought shipping would be less.

No mor deal! I wouldn't sweat, it was a good price, but it's going to be here again and maybe, maybe slightly better with free shipping

Its back up to .33 per round this morning.

I like the Wolf Gold a lot, and it is even a little more accurate than Federal XM193 in my experience, but when it comes down to it I would prefer the Federal just because of the proven terminal performance. The Wolf may be as good, but there just isn't much testing data out there on it. For pretty much the same price, I'd go Federal.

Oh, and whoever voted this deal down is a complete fucktard. This is the best deal I have seen on Federal XM193 in years, even with shipping.

I just picked up 1k as $326 compared to the 223 wolf gold at $316 is well worth it to me.

I'm happy to have some more. Read the comment on PSA from the guy who got it in May 2013, "Just picked up 1,000 rounds from PSA for $0.64/round. In the current market environment I consider it to be a steal..." I guess it's all a matter of perspective.

Damn, .64 per round was a steal. Though I paid .31 for steel was horrible lol

Does the $15 off coupon still work?

What $15 off coupon?

I think he's referring to SAVE15 but it doesn't apply to ammo, unfortunately.

Are you able to find brass, steel-free 5.56 ammo for less than $0.32/rd shipped elsewhere? Or just not happy with current 223/5.56 ammo prices in general? Even right now the IGMAN and Wolf GOLD options are the same price or more when shipped even though these all state $0.30/rd before shipping

I don't need 5.56, .223 works fine for me. The Armory have Wolf Gold for $316 shipped (1,000). For me that is a better deal. For others the 5.56 here is a better deal. You need to decide what is better for you.

if you want to store up some ammo without steel, this is a great option and while this deal lasts this is the same price as Wolf GOLD 223 which is also without steel but I'd rather have Lake City vs. Wolf any day of the week... One quick note however is that PSA is notorious for slow shipping so don't expect this to arrive in a few days.

Picked up six 50rd boxes of .223 yesterday at walmart for $17.24 each. Granted it was Brass Max (Tulammo). Never even new Tulammo made brass ammo but shot it alongside some PMC today and it shot about the same size groups with no failures.

Not sure why people keep junking up this site with overpriced crap. Nothing special about this deal. You can get this same ammo currently from several places for the same crappy price.

I'm pretty sure the tula brass is just relabeled privi.

I've had good luck with Pervy in my milsurps and their 124gr 9mm. I have not tried their 5.56.
There was a debate as to whether 9mm Monarch was just relabeled armscor. I don't know if that's true but I like Monarch steel 5.45

Now that right there is funny. Yep I agree Grumpy. I don't believe I have ever seen a forum on any subject, let alone a gun forum, where so many are obsessed with sodomy and rape. It is truly bizarre and disturbing at the same time.

Ammo prices are coming back down slowly, anyone that spends any time looking knows this. This is gouging pure and simple, "Firearms For Sale" needs to realize the days of getting this price are over, except for the dolts that don't know any better.

What a rip off crock of crap. With prices coming down, and prices in the .40-.50 cent range online, only the desperate or uninformed would pay these prices for run of the mill ammo. Guys, please don't pay these prices so retailers will be forced to let up on the gouging!!

Worrrd my man..Worrd! Is there no admin on here who can remove this crap! And who the heck gave it 2.5 stars!!!? I wonder if the retailer themselves are logging on here to push their "rape you in the face!" deals.

adrian and mark are the admin. As far as I am aware they do not remove non deals but we have the ability to report them and listed as reason other or just expire and they will go bye bye. Try asking in the forum maybe
