And no. No they want. They are thin steel gym lockers. They are plenty sturdy with decent enough locks to keep firearms away from children and basic thieves which is what most people need. If you have heirloom type firearms to keep safe or fire protection, of course you want a real safe. Either way, if someone wants in, they'll get into a safe or a locker with a grinder anyway.
That said, these are not all created equal. Some have cheap hinges no bigger than the little dowels (about 3mm) used to hold up adjustable shelves where a small sawzall could cut through at the top and bottom. Some have hinges that are more robust be it internal or external.
Some have locking bolts at the top and bottom as well as in the middle. Makes it harder to pry open the door.
And with most electronic locks, they have a backup way to plug in external power if the installed batteries are dead. Look for ones that use usb-c. One if mine has a stupid headphone jack and comes with a 4 AA pack with a headphone plug. Such a dumb design in today's day and age.
And of course, buy to your needs. If you want one for a longer rifle or shotgun, don't be an idiot and whine it's to small. Pay attention to the dimensions and buy accordingly. And as always cut the indicated capacity in half for a more realistic capacity unless you just want to stuff them in there like it's a foot locker.
