Polish your image with the Kershaw Crown. From its satin-polished blades and bolsters to its handsome Micarta scales, this is a classic gentleman's knife. Micarta is an industrial laminate composed of layers of fiber embedded in a resin and subjected to heat and high-pressure to make the material extremely hard and dense. It has both industrial and decorative applications and it makes a remarkably handsome knife handle, especially when polished to a shine as it is in the Kershaw Crown. The Crown’s blade is 8Cr13MoV for a solid balance of strength with an ability to take and hold an edge. The Crown is a classic manual-opening knife, but it’s fast and easy with the ambidextrous thumbstuds. A secure locking liner keeps the blade safely opened until the user releases it. The Crown offers two carry options: a single-position pocketclip as well as a lanyard hole drilled in the handle. The Crown makes a handsome gentleman’s knife, yet is large enough to be a genuinely useful knife when the need arises.

Have had it for two months now, carry it daily and it still has a good edge. For $12, you can't go wrong. Considering ordering some for stocking suffers for Xmas.
Great gentleman's folder at this price. Good weight, feels very solid and exudes quality. I was lucky enough to get the one with the blue micarta scales at this price. It stands out among the sea of black handled blades.
Amazing deal. Chinese made, but pretty good quality. The bearings are smooth as silk, and the lock up is solid. Haven't had it long enough to discuss the heat treat on the 8Cr13MoV, but if it's even half decent, this knife was a steal.
[edit] Had this knife a couple of weeks now, and the original edge is holding up very well. Pretty impressed with the steel and the heat treat on this "cheap" knife, so I bought another.
The one thing I'd suggest that anyone who buys this knife does is to remove the clip as soon as you buy it, dab in a little loctite, then really tighten those bolts. I didn't do this on my first one, and with only a couple of weeks of regular use, the clip was loosening up enough to have a fair amount of wobble, which started to damage the little micarta channel that the clip fits in. Avoid this by doing the above.
I just ordered my 4th Crown. All my friends who see mine really comment on it, so I go and order them one too. Great value for the knife you get. I've had one long enough to use it and know its easy to sharpen and holds a good edge.
Pretty nice knife for $12. Cheap knives are getting much better.
Man 12 bucks for a beautiful kershaw i couldnt pass it up
