This looks like a fun way to finish a spare lower, but there's enough weirdness in the description to give me pause. Use only 2.25" shells? Pretty sure that .410 comes in 2 1/2 and 3 inch shells only. Minimum velocity of 1200 fps? This seems to be an indirect way of saying that it's not gonna work well with many brands/shot combos. I'll pass.
You can get a decent 12 gage for $470 complete. More power and ammo is cheaper. Just bought a Boss 25 in black. Love it.
nah, I dont think this is as good for a new full build as it is just an upper to have and swap on your already built rifle. The whole "weird description" is about the upper cycling low power shells, just wont do it with a standard AR gas system. So they recommend higher velocity shells. In fact MANY dedicated AR Shotguns also say this in their fine print. Just the nature of the beast. Still a good deal for a complete drop on upper in . 410.
Oh, agreed. I've a Winchester 1300 Defender myself in the safe. This upper is more a fun range toy than a working firearm, for sure.
Has anyone got this exact upper? What's up with the barrel shroud? Is that part of the handguard or a separate piece?
