The default carrier and two BARE 10x12 curved plates with NOTHING extra like pouches. Please note the bare plates will rust so they should be painted and they will "spall" bad when hit because many times bullets will shatter when hitting objects perpendicular to their flight path. Some people coat their bare plates with Line-X truck bed coating, top them with old soft body armor, or buy "spall pads" which tend to be a few sheets of kevlar sewn into the same shape as the steel plates....or a combination of the above. Take your pick, watch a few youtube videos, and don't blame me if you end up with bullet fragments in your chin ;)

Yes, we do not recommend running bare plates! The bare plates are for those who would like to coat their own or use spall covers. We do this because a lot of people are being mislead by other companies who only put a light coat of Line-X on their plates. We offer bare and fully coated plates 1/4" thick so there is no confusion on what the product is.
