The Kuro is a really great value everyday carry knife. The grip texture is really good, has great action, is lightweight yet is durable, and it falls into the just the right size for pocket carry range. 2 thumbs up at $20 or below.

Kershaw makes a great knife. I saw a couple with different handle types on www.hunterscatalog.com... that I want to get vs the matte black.
Best <$20 knifes that I have. Like them a lot. Used to buy them from Wal-Mart at $20. Have several of those. Plus they are small enough that if you live in the state that regulate pocket/concealed knife sizes, you should be OK (check yuour laws).
