Exactly. It happens...

Do not have this product, but looks like a friction lock, which makes the trigger pull so much heavier for the first shot. Which then stays out of the way for the 2nd - 17th round... but it is one time use, so that is why you get one lower piece and 12 upper pieces. That way after you have shot any bad guys, then the next day when you are cleaning the weapon, you replace this trigger block.

There have been stories where the mini trigger part gets hung up on a holster edge or other extra strap or corner of your holster, and as you draw the weapon, or move it about in the holster, a trigger pull will happen and boom, you shot your leg! So, this makes that harder to happen, but is NOT a true safety... YMMV.
