Foxtrot Mike Products Complete FM9 Premium 9mm Lower Receiver - $224.99
I had and FM upper and was running it on a regular AR lower with a sylvan conversion block and an Armaspec SRS 9mm buffer system. Worked pretty good but had the occasional stove-pipe and no LRBHO so I decided to get one of these. Only one range trip so far but worked great, no stove-pipes (maybe FM's buffer system better optimized) and ran reliably. I dig the mag release on this and it easily seats Glock mags. A criticism, at least for the one I got, is the ambi- safety seems like it's made out of polymer, which feels cheap. The "upgraded" grip really isn't: just a better grip angle than a standard AR grip.
FM the manufacturer is great too. I didn't like my folding charging handle on my upper so I wrote them asking if they sold the non-folding version and they then sent me their non-folding version gratis.

Decent deal at this price, but I find that the detachable front "pistol" carrying portion could use a few more features and overall It is a little long for most AR type rifles. It'd be nice if there were some magazine pockets in the larger "pistol" compartment or at least some velcro straps that could be used to secure pistols from flopping around in a relatively big compartment. If It cost more I would have picked a different option. A plus for me was no shipping cost and could be picked up at my local Cabela's.

TRYBE Defense 16 inch 7.62x39mm AR-15 Complete Upper Receiver - $192
Purchased at $222. Was happy. When it shipped was listed at $192 with the code. I contacted customer service asking for a credit. They replied they see it listed at 299. I replied I guess O missed it....they went ahead and researched it and issued a $30 store credit. So I bought more stuff.
I keep hearing about Optics Planet and bad retailer. My experience is the opposite. Good prices, fast service responses, and the product looks quality.
On to the upper. Quality seems similar to mainstream PSA products. The upper has no obvious flaws, the machining looks good, bcg stakes are decent and the worst I can say is the handguard has slightly sharp edges but nothing that is a problem. At $299 its a good deal. At less its amazing.
I weighed it at 4.5lbs. 7.5 is the shipped weight and it is packaged very well.
Paired it with a 1-4x25 Athlon scope with mount for $120 shipped from Midway and I am waiting on backorder mags and a YHM suppressor mount to get ready to do some hog slaying
