The DBX57 functions on a simple design method based on a locked breech dual gas piston system. The frame is made from 7075 Aluminum with a hard coat anodized finish. It has a very AR-15 style feel with a pistol grip, controls, and fire control group. The M-LOK modular attachment interface hand guard allows for various accessories to be attached. Additionally it is worth noting that standard 20 round Fn Five-SeveN compatible pistol magazines are used to run this firearm.
