RHF4 incorporates Forward Controls design input: Omission of built-in QD swivel attachment points. Some like the now common front and rear located QD sockets, we prefer the location of the front sling attachment be left to individual users. A BCM rail mounted QD sling adapter is included (the QD sling adapter can be removed in the drop down menu if you don’t need it, or already have one, please see the QD sling adapter drop down menu). The rail numbers are machine engraved, and a subdued Cygnus is engraved on the right side of the RHF4.

HF-601 is a collaboration between Hodge Defense Systems and Forward Controls Design.
HF-601 is based on their PF-040 pins, with Jim’s input on what he wants on HDSI ARs. Like PF-040, they’re 17-4 stainless steel, precision billet machined on Swiss machines with high degrees of precision and very tight tolerances, and black nitride treated. HF-601 pins are 0.040″ longer than TDP take down and pivot pins, another feature shared with their PF-040.

The end plate is one of the most over looked parts when it comes to upgrading your rifle. After all, that simple hunk of forged metal does a perfectly good job of holding your takedown pin detent and spring in place and providing material to stake your castle nut. Forward Controls Design wasn’t content to leave well enough alone, however and offers the End Plate, Sling Adapter, Forward Controls Design now available in heavy duty 4140 chrome moly steel.
Features:
4140 chrome moly steel construction
Rotation Limited side QD sling swivel sockets

Based on the successful 6310 design that’s been well proven on many of our Dead Air Keymo and Xeno devices, 6310 is a closed bottom flash suppressor / muzzle rise compensator that provides 15 to 20% better compensator performance, without the extra muzzle flash, concussion and noise normally associated with a compensator. 6310’s shorter and smaller 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock ports force more gas to be vented through the 3 upward facing ports.

ABC/R has finally made its way to 7.62mm, LR308 pattern ARs. ABC/R v2 (for either 5.56mm and 7.62mm ARs) has incorporated refinements and lessons learned since the ABC/R (v1, 5.56mm) was introduced in early 2015, it is now stronger, slimmer and has a much more durable coating (black nitride).
ABC/R version 2 consists of the following changes:
Deletion of lightening cuts
10% thinner, and tapered upper paddle to better clear wide billet upper receivers (tapered upper paddle design input from Military Morons)
Bolt catch plunger and spring now included

Ambidextrous charging handles for the AR platform have exploded in popularity and with good reason. Regardless of your dominant hand, being able to handily manipulate your rifle’s action in any position is an incredibly useful feature. They aren’t without their downsides however. Extended latches can catch on gear and dig into your chest when your rifle is slung. Small latches are harder to use with optics, and when using the right side of the handle makes mashing your knuckles into your forward assist almost a guarantee. Enter the Low Drag Forward Assist from Forward Controls Design.

The buffer retainer is one of those components that absolutely no one thinks about once it’s installed. The little nub might help you time a buffer tube, but mostly it just keeps your buffer and buffer spring seated in your buffer tube when you open your receivers. This humble component can cause big problems should it break, sending the small nub that once retained your buffer to wreak havoc in your trigger group. To prevent this, Forward Controls Design offers the Reinforced Buffer Retainer.

17-4 PH stainless steel bar stock
Heat treated to H900 hardness

ABC/R (Augmented Bolt Catch/Release) with its angled and larger top paddle and lower paddle with increased surface area, is purpose designed for use with AR15/M16 receivers equipped with ambidextrous magazine releases.
