The patented internal recoil system eliminates the standard buffer tube/spring associated with most AR rifles allowing the rifle to be fired with the stock folded. Constructed with U.S billet aluminum, and finished in black hard coat type III anodizing, this tactical rifle comes with extraordinary custom detail and outstanding quality.

DRD Tactical Aptus 300 AAC Blackout 16in Black Anodized Semi Automatic Modern Sporting Rifle - 30+1 Rounds - The Aptus evolved from DRD's popular Paratus rifle, utilizing the same patented internal recoil and quick barrel change technologies in a smaller, even more discreet unit. The internal recoil system eliminates the standard buffer tubes and springs associated with most AR style rifles. This special feature allows it to be fired with the stock folded and maintain in the ready for close quarter battle situations.

The rifle can be assembled in less than 60 seconds without the use of any tools.
