The IWI ARAD 5 is a 5.56x45mm NATO semi-auto rifle built around a 2-position short-stroke gas piston system, 16" barrel, semi-monolithic upper & modular M-LOK handguard. It uses standard AR-pattern magazines, a B5 SOPMOD telescoping stock & IWI’s QD CamLok barrel system, giving shooters a cleaner-running piston AR with quick barrel-change capability.
