The Bushmaster BA30 is a straight-pull bolt-action rifle introduced as Bushmaster's first new model following the Remington Arms Company bankruptcy. Designed on an AR-style platform, it offers modularity and versatility for shooters. A notable feature of the BA30 is its ambidextrous bolt handle, which can be installed on either side of the action, accommodating both left- and right-handed shooters. The rifle's modular design allows for easy component interchangeability, including triggers, recoil pads, handguards, and barrels, facilitating caliber conversions between .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor. Additionally, the BA30 is engineered with all American-made parts. The Bushmaster BA30 is a straight-pull bolt-action rifle that features barrel length options of 18 or 24", with twist rates of 1:10 for .308 Win. and 1:8 for 6.5 Creedmoor. The rifle's upper and lower receivers are Type III Hard Coat Anodized, and it comes equipped with a DM2S 2-Stage trigger. The ambidextrous straight-pull bolt design enhances versatility, while the BFI 14" M-LOK handguard and BFI 1913 Adjustable stock provide customization options. The spring-assisted bolt enables rapid cycling, allowing shooters to maintain their sight picture between shots.
