The Escort PS is a reliable and efficient semi-automatic shotgun, now available in 12-gauge, 20-gauge, and .410 caliber with a 3-inch magnum chamber. New for 2024, the 20-gauge model offers camo options in RealTree Timber, Mossy Oak Bottomland, and RealTree MAX-5 patterns. It features Hatsan's FAST Loading System for quick, one-handed loading without changing shooting positions, and the SMART Valve Piston, a self-regulating gas system that cycles 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch magnum rounds ranging from 7/8 oz to 2 oz loads, allowing mixed ammunition use without issues. The 28-inch chrome-plated steel barrel is optimized for shot or slugs and comes with a multi-choke system including F, IM, M, IC, and CYL chokes. The aircraft alloy receiver has an 11mm groove for scope mounts, and the 7mm ventilated, anti-glare raised rib with a brass bead front sight enhances targeting. The rugged synthetic stock and forend provide durability, with checkered grip surfaces for improved control. Stock shims allow adjustment of drop and cast for a personalized fit, and a soft rubber buttpad with three spacers adjusts the length of pull. The tube magazine holds 4+1 rounds, or 2+1 with the migratory plug installed, and includes a magazine cut-off system for single-shot operation. Available finishes are black synthetic, RealTree Timber, Mossy Oak Bottomland, or RealTree MAX-5 camo patterns. Additional features include mounted sling studs and a manual cross-button trigger safety.
