The Angstadt Arms MDP-9 is a line of compact firearms based on the AR-9 platform, designed for close-quarters battle (CQB). It's designed to meet the requirements of shooters who need a professional-grade pistol-caliber carbine in a compact form ideal for fast yet reliable 9mm action. The MDP-9 Gen2 is available in both pistol and SBR configurations. Both configurations share main features, such as an aluminum body, a handguard with M-LOK mounting slots, a top 1913 Picatinny rail for scope attachment, a B5 pistol grip, an EMT-9 trigger, a threaded chrome-moly barrel with a removable 3-lug muzzle device, and Glock magazines. The pistol model features no buttstock but includes a 1913 end-rail interface with a QD socket, while the SBR model has a left-side folding MFG rifle stock with a sling mount. This is the main difference between these two models, making the MDP-9 Gen2 line a versatile AR-9 firearm for different shooting scenarios, from fast, concealed action to the more traditional functionality provided by the rifle stock.
